New "My Form Created" Poem

 Life's War Wager

In this world one's soul is in danger
As to this good and evil battle
In the hopes to win life's war wager

For in this battle the win is major
As one's soul becomes unravel
When in this world one's soul is in danger

Good and evil life's ruling dictator
For one to chose in which one does travel
In the hopes to win life's war wager

In life's journey is where the wager won
With one's choice being the certain factor
As at the end of life the battle done

One's internal war is what does matter
In the battle of good versus evil
As one's life wagered for the hereafter

Here one's soul can be in an upheaval
For in this world one's soul is in danger
But choosing God one's being becomes regal
In the hopes to win life's war wager

Thoughts: There is a war waging between good and evil prevailing in the spiritual ream where our choice in this life matters where we will spend our life eternally. As Paul the Apostle divinely wrote, " For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled" (2 Corinthians 10:3-6). You can almost imagine bets being placed in the spirit ream as to where our souls will end up being; Heaven or Hell. Strongholds are any thing that prevents one's belief, maturity, and obedience in Christ. That being where the battle for our souls has been since the beginning. In choosing God/Christ in obeying the best I can, is my hope to win life's war wager for my soul.

"My Form Created" Poem - If Easy, It Wouldn't Mean Much

If  Easy, It Wouldn't Mean Much

When to your life you know He has touch
It can become a challenge just because
If it were easy, it wouldn't mean much

For before you knew not to this be such
As He draws you near His cause
When to your life you know He has touched

For to your being He does clutch
To this He guides you out of what was
If it were easy, it wouldn't mean much

In being a Christian God is aware
How hard to not be of this world
When to this most everyone is there

As friends and family are whirled
To your faithfulness to follow Him
Not understanding your being is hurled

Sometimes your life with Him may seem grimm
When to your life you know He has touch
And your faith is pushed to the brim
If it were easy, it wouldn't mean much
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Life as a Christian isn't always easy. Challenges will always arise because we live in a fallen world. Perhaps the biggest challenge, as a Christian, is to be in the world but to not partake of worldly ways. No one, not even Jesus, said it was going to be easy. "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out if the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, A servant is not greater than his master; it they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you....." (John 15;18-20. NKJV). Always remember the Lord Jesus faced very hard situations and His hard situations was, and still is, very meaningful. He is with us no matter how hard it gets; because, if it were easy, it wouldn't mean much.

New "My Form Created" Poem

 Submerged and Washed Away

When to this world one's soul does stray
As one partakes it's temporal ways
One is submerged and washed away

It's then only the truth be the way
To rise above tides of sin in a blaze
For in this world the soul does stray

It's only to His name one stray does say
In truth be rinsed in that of praise
As one's sins submerged and washed away

One either submerged in the way of the land
Or baptized in the waters of the truth
It's your decision which to you is grand

For when one emerges from sin uncouth
Where one submerged in truth rise above
The sins of the world that brought untruth

Being rinsed in Christ there's tides of love
When in this world the soul does stray
With His love one emerges in truth thereof
Then one's sins submerged and washed away
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: As a Christian, it's important to be baptized as the Lord commanded. " He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not will be condemned"  (Mark 16:16, NKJV). Just as important is the understanding being new in Christ, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all thing have become new" (2 CO 5:17. NKJV), and being submerged, one's sins are washed way.

"My Form Created" Poem - Being Lost is Close to Being Found

Being Lost is Close to Being Found

When to this world one seems to be bound
One is only wandering in one's way
As being lost is close to being found

For as to here one becomes greatly wound
It's then one kneels to Him to pray
When to this world one seems to be bound

But to one's prays He answers as vowed
Then one's path becomes clear that day
As being lost is close to being found

At times being lost helps guide one straight
When to here one starts wandering
It's on one's knees where found one's fate

When to one's life one was faltering
God gives His hand for found to begin
Then one's life becomes indeed promising

He's forgiving the lost where one has been
When to this world one seems to be bound
Even thou one was lost in terrible sin
As being lost is close to being found
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Sometimes it does take being lost for one to be found. With God one can always be found when lost in this world. It only takes a cry out to Him for He is waiting for you; the lost. "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost! I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance" (Luke 15:4-7. NKJV). When one is wandering lost in this world and/or low in sin, one only needs to cry out to God and He will find you; as with Him being lost is close to being found.

"My Form Created" Poem - Chosen Heaven

 Chosen Heaven

One makes a place one calls one's haven
Where one does choose to spent one's day
It all about one's chosen heaven

One sees the courage a friend has given
As to this bravery one does say
It's in this place one calls one's haven

For it's in these moments one's peace driven
Where God shows His presence along the way
It's all about one's chosen heaven

This temporal place one does now live
Chosen to one in making one's retreat
It's the value to moments one does give

Living in peace is where one plants one's feet
In one's journey home to where one belongs
For now heaven be in moments made sweet

For it's to heaven where one's soul longs
In this place one makes one's haven
Heaven on earth in moments prolongs
As it all depends on one's chosen heaven
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Heaven here on earth, our temporal home, all depends on how one chooses to look at things. A baby's cry, courage of a friend, hands of a doctor, the love of a mother and/or father, and so on can all be considered a gift from heaven; thus, heaven on earth. To experience the good moments in life, it's all about how we perceive life in our chosen heaven.

New :My Form Created" Poem

Ruled by Heaven or by Man's Will

We humans have a choice to fulfill
To live life in the choice we choose
As ruled by heaven or by man's will

In man's will desire we seek to instill
To this many times we can only loose
We as humans have a choice to fulfill

In God's will to Him we are refill
As He treats our desires as His muse
When ruled by heaven not by man's will

In choosing one's own will human remains
For in our will beyond present not seen
Because we operate our will in gains

Choosing His will we gain in that unseen
As He knows to our being our desires
To our own we know not what He foreseen

Although given free will as it aspires
We humans have a choice to fulfill
This choice being ours as life requires
One ruled by heaven or by man's will
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: We humans live under free will; yes we are free to choose. But we are also ruled by our choices. Being ruled by man's will and desires can lead to hatefulness, meanness, disappointment, and much more in the manner of strife and foolishness. To be ruled by God's will is to be ruled by love. Biblical love is a matter of choice; it is dangerous and foolish to float through life with undiscerning love. And, for most of us our main deep down desire is love. "Grace, mercy, and peace be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love" (2 John 1:3. NKJV). Yes we human's have a choice as given to us in free will to be ruled by heaven or by man's will.

"My Form Created" Poems - Two Poems Meaning One Thought!

If You Never, You Wouldn't Know

Sometimes it's hard to go through to grow
It's to these hard times one learns
If you never, you would never know

To the struggle you may feel very low
Especially when your well-being concerns
As sometimes it's hard to go through to grow

For when heartache to you is bestow
Growth being the outcome gives returns
If you never, you would never know

As one appreciates the little things
When to struggle & heartache you knew
To these little things the heart now sings

Although at times you had no clue
For your good it may work toward
As this you never, gives you a breakthrough

These never life lessons wisdom is poured
When sometimes hard to go through to grow
It's then one learns to call on the Lord
Due if you never, you would never know
    ©Doris Elaine

Thanks For The Lesson!

Without heartbreak there's no progression
From within the feeling was driven
I must say, thanks for the lesson

As the pain deep down gives the impression
Healing need from what was given
Without heartbreak there's no progression

Now I have learned my heart's expression
When to the one all is forgiven
I must say, thanks for the lesson

In knowing this feeling I have learned
To trust the Lord with my precious heart
Because to His love my heart concerned

As in His love I'll never depart
For He will never to my heart break
And to my healing give me a new start

To my world this lesson did awake
Without this heartbreak was no progression
As I've matured from that I did partake
I must say, Thanks For The Lesson!
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: If you never experience hard times you would never appreciate when things go right or good for you. We sometimes struggle through life as lessons in order to grow in understanding of who is the One we can count on; especially when the heart is concerned. Growth is necessary in order to mature as a Christian and going through is a part of that growth. So, the next time you struggle remember it a part of the maturing process because if you never you would never know how to call on the Lord and appreciate what He gives you. And the next time someone breaks your heart, pray and forgive, then say, thanks for the lesson!

New "My Form Created" Poem - Temptation Isn't Sin

 Temptation Isn't Sin

It's a matter of where it begin
When to this we make a decision
In knowing that temptation isn't sin

Although the idea sometimes gives a grin
We see difference in it's provision
It's a matter of where it begin

Temptation can lead to sin there in
That's where the act and it has division
In knowing that temptation isn't sin

If we act to it be it's master
Then temptation will not sin cast us
And what begin will not end in disaster

Sin in temptation is death unless
In life one masters it's position
To this effort, He will greatly bless

Thus, sin does temptation be it's mission
As it's a matter of where it begin
Up to us in not giving permission
In knowing temptation isn't sin
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Temptation will always rear it's head. Satan will always temp people; especially a Christian. As a Christian it's important in giving an effort in mastering temptation. One combative tool is praying to the Lord to give one strength in not acting on temptation. It's a matter of what one does in temptation,  as temptation alone is not a sin.

"My From Created" Poem

 What Happened To....

Things are the way in which we choose to view
For some this view is through everyone's eyes
Others view asking what happened to....

As some in this world their view grew
Living their lives as the world view comprise
Things their way in which they choose to view

This world view to some they never knew
They living their lives as God devise
As they view asking what happened to....

If we act according to world outlook
To this view we see as universal
As most do because to this world they took

But to some this world things in reversal
Due what in this world they see immoral
Immoral to this world a proposal

To this world view some choose to be oral
As to the way in which we choose to view
Speaking to world view some want to quarrel
When we view asking what happened to....
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Speaking out as a Christian does sometimes cause others to want to quarrel; especially when speaking against immoral acts that many see as okay simply because their view of it is one of worldly in saying "everyone is doing it". For instance: a world view of dating for sex; which, seems to be the norm of the world today. Not wanting to quarrel; but, either way you look at it sex outside marriage is fortification. But again, I guess it depends on your view; worldly or Godly? As a Christian to this dating to find a life-long mate; I say, what happened to....
