New "My Form Created, Tervillazanelle" Poem

Missing What You Never Found

One day you realize what you missed
Wondering how this could have happened
Never found for you what didn't exist

For you it greatly did resist
Your struggles became overlapping
As one day you realize what you missed

This thing that has barely been in your midst
As now has made you very saddened
Never found for you what didn't exist

Thou for decades you really didn't look
Because the internal need was elsewhere
Thus the need for it got greatly overlook

Now to the need you've become aware
And for the many years this includes
Missing what you never found in despair

As true love with a mate for you alludes
One day you realize what you missed
To this need it seems life excludes
Never found for you what didn't exist

Thoughts: When one struggles through life just to get through one can miss out on many good things life has to offer. Especially, when to this struggle more important is the need of others than one's own self's need. In tending the needs of others out of love one can miss out in finding true love of a mate for one's self. Then much later in life it's realized you are missing what you never found.
