New " My Form Created" Poem

 We Choose Him In Devotion

Some brag to one as being chosen
But to this understanding, I think not
As we chose Him in devotion

For some religions believe to be chose in
Making themselves the only one in thought
As some brag to one as being chosen

But to this thought wrong to those in
When to the Lord one greatly sought
As we chose Him in devotion

It's truly our choice to make
Not that of men of who is greater
In His eyes we are equal to His sake

For in His words this made straighter
All are loved and many are called
By Him as our gracious creator

In birth to our soul His presence installed
But some brag to one as being chosen
And to this human thought be appalled
As we chose Him in devotion
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: God does chose people(s) for special task in accordance to His will. And, He does predestine His people in giving a certain task as He already knows who will chose Him and be faithful when the time comes in fulfillment of the special task. A good article to read about being chosen by God at this website https://www.whatchristianswanttoknow.com/what-does-it-mean-to-be-chosen-by-god/. Being chosen does not mean better nor is something to brag about. And being chosen does not mean one being the only one having special connections to the Lord nor that only if chosen for a special task will one have salvation. All are equal in His eyes and all can have the gift of salvation. "For many are called, but few are chosen" (Matt. 22:14. NKJV). Abraham, Noah, The disciples were chosen for a special task; but, it was up to them to fulfill this task in devotion to Him.

"My Form Created" Poem-I ask The Lord For....

 I Ask The Lord For.....

I went to Him sincerely in tears
To ask for my deep down desire
For without this my being in fears

On my knee hoping my prayers He hears
As to this desire my soul is on fire
I went to Him sincerely in tears

In His words His care to this He declares
And to this desire with Him acquire
For without Him my being in fears

Little I knew the desire of my soul
As He showed me to Him it be
In my being deep down made whole

In His presence while on my knee
No truer is His love from above
My soul is touched in desire of thee

Asking The Lord for blessings of true love
I went to Him sincerely in tears
Now with Him my desire never void of
For without Him my being in fears
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Many times we have heartfelt desires that are either something we never experienced or we haven't had in a very long time. To this we often go in prayers asking for this desire; which God does promise in His words "Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart" (Psa. 37:4. NKJV). In this promise one must first be delighted in The Lord; our number one heart's desire, for without Him our deep down desire(S) aren't possible. I learned in true love He is my desire for without Him my being in fears.

New "My Created Form" Poem-Not So Much About Mine

 Not So Much About Mine

As much as it is about the one it define
When to me cruelty does badly rain
Salvation is not so much about mine

One dishes out evil in hopes to incline
When brining to me a shadow of pain
As much as it is about the one it define

For I know to where my soul entwine
And thou from the one evil hopes in gain
Salvation is not so much about mine

So, to one's actions I can only pray
Because I know to where my being stand
When to much evil the one brings my way

To one evil defines it does demand
One's soul in return for cruelty it gave
For me in this I can not give a hand

The one in evil to not be enslave
As much as it is about the one it define
It's up to the one to want to be save
Salvation is not so much about mine
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: In being a Christian, evil does come one's ways, many times through other people. Believe satan is not going to leave a Christian alone. He will use other people to try and sway your salvation to his side. Many times these people don't even know they are being used; but sometimes they do. In any case, when evil does come one's way as a Christian through other people know where you stand as a saved Christian and remember, it's not so much about your salvation as it is about theirs' if you know where you stand in yours'.

"My Form Created" Double Tervillazelle-The Difference

 The Difference

I belonging this world not the same
Involving myself pleasures being here
Wondering to what my being became

When to other's ways I play their game
My real being did slowly disappear
I belonging this world not the same

In trying my best to here gain fame
To this making my ways endear
Wondering to what my being became

As I look in the mirror seeing change
Realizing to this hard to smile
Because what I do see now strange

Have not seen the real me in awhile
For to this world my being belong
To this difference my true self exile

Now to my being I fail myself
I belonging to this world not the same
When to my true ways I have shelf
Wondering to what my being became

When to this world not the same to oneself
One must ask to what be the difference
Then try to this world to distance thyself

In being honest and true to yourself
Realizing it's okay as indifference
When to this world not the same to oneself

One must leave this world to itself
When to the Lord one makes preference
And try to this world to distance thyself

His directives to be here not of here
Being the difference belonging to Him
To this one's soul does indeed hear

For to be here one's being is slim
Where temporal this difference at bay
As being of this world one's soul be dim

Now a being shines with Him display
When to this world not the same to oneself
Different here this way without delay
And try to this world to distance thyself
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts:  It's easy to get caught up in the ways of the world; thus, belonging to the world. Yes, we humans are habitual creatures, but we also possess a fabulous mind where we can make determined decisions. Determining rather we want to be in the world or of the world. In belonging to the Lord, He directs us to be in the world, not of the world (1 John 2:15). Belonging to Him, not the world, this be the difference.

"My Form Created" Poem

   Can't Change Myself

As one learns one being known to oneself
Somethings may not be appealing
Then one may say can't change myself

One may start to think one by them-self
To this effort one's being revealing
As one learns one being known to oneself

No need to be dismay in thyself
As the Lord can give you healing
When one may say can't change myself

In pray one calls on the Lord for change
To this one given from Him the strength
That at first this endeavor may seem strange

Although this process may extend in length
It's in the effort that He gives one grace
When He and you share the same wavelength

Then looking in the mirror at one's face
As one learns one being known to oneself
One realizes the old being He replace
Because one may say can't change myself
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Sometimes, when one realizes, one's way of being or something one is doing is wrong it can be hard to change; especially if it has developed into a habit. Sometimes we want to say, "Oh well I'm just that way" and then accept it because it may cause stress or be hard to change. But to change can also be a positive thing in becoming new, a new creation (2 CO 5:17). If once one realizes certain areas or things need to change within themselves the Lord can give one strength to do so when one say's can't change myself.

"My form Created" Poem - I May Not Be

  I May Not Be

To the heavens I send my plea
For what I need may take a miracle
As my soul sings out I may not be

I find myself down on one knee
And tears adorn my face in a trickle
To the heavens I send my plea

Not sure my being good for thee
Care in patients may be an obstacle
As my soul sings out I may not be

At my age experience expected
In some areas to this only naiveness
To most my age to this rejected

For the burden in care may bring stress
To this I do fully understand
Thou unexperienced wise no less

To this my Lord I need your hand
As to the heavens I send my plea
Having faith a miracle planned
When my soul sings out I may not be
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts:  It's ashamed that some compare one being unexperienced to one being unwise. Even more ashamed when one wants to possess or abuse the unexperienced. As an older women, having some areas of inexperience, some by choice, I realize in acceptance this may be a burden as more effort and patients has to be in place in one's care as a mate. But to me this ideology doesn't make sense, as it seems there should be a degree of care and patients in every relationship; not self focused. These days it seems it does take a miracle in finding a mate for one unexperienced; but, in faith to the Lord I stand in my naieveness as to the experienced  I may not be.

New "My Form Created' Poem- The World's Place in You

 The World's Place in You

When it's hard to find your place in the world
To this one can get very withdrawn
It may mean the world found it's place in you

Sometimes things here don't seem as pearled
As to your way you thought you knew
When it's hard to find your place in the world

Then your emotions get greatly hurled
As in this world you try to get through
It may mean the world found it's place in you

Okay to live here but not be of it
In finding your place in Jesus Christ
When to Him one becomes closely knit

As to this place He was sacrificed
Even when our place here seemed grim
For us to be free here His life sufficed

Freedom doesn't mean you here on a whim
When it's hard to find your place in the world
There's always a place to be with Him
Even when the world's found it's place in you
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts:  It's okay to feel out of place in the world. As a matter of fact, as Christians we really are out of place in this temporary world we live. Our home is with Him. It's a common feeling as a Christian to feel out of place. Believe me I've had this not feeling I belong here for a very long time. It's when you get comfortable and feel in place here that one's needs to be wondering and concerned if in finding your place here if the world has found it's place in you. (This poem a little off set and out of place in pattern; but had to be in order to make it's meaning work).

"My Form Created" Poem

   Actively Waiting

Just sitting around can be frustrating
Especially when expecting
Better to be actively waiting

When to one's purpose contemplating
Rather than purposely affecting
Just sitting around can be frustrating

Actively using time allocating
To one's expectancy one creating
Better to be actively waiting

Instead of sitting around wondering
To when one's expect does come
Give one's self to Him in honoring

Then time waiting becomes worth the sum
Because your time is not flawed
Position in purpose has now become

Your actively is now applaud
As sitting around can be frustrating
But now you've given your time to God
In better to be actively waiting
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Sometimes it can be very frustrating when you are expecting something and it seems you are just sitting around waiting. Especially when that something is what you have been praying for as an outcome for awhile. I learned in the waiting if one partakes in activities that moves you closer to your purpose for God, the outcome can turn out better than you had hoped for. Rather than be frustrated sitting around waiting, it's better to be actively waiting.

New "My Form Created" Poem

  Old Fashioned; And!

It's okay to your demeanor to stand
Thou to some you may not seem right
Even if a bit old fashioned; and!

What you believe in your ways to some bland
To you it's honesty that's downright
It's okay to your demeanor to stand

In being kind in giving a hand
One avoids the hate of today's plight
Even if a bit old fashioned, and!

And old fashioned to some seems out of time
A world where fast is sooner than later
Where waiting for the best doesn't seem prime

Need to decide to one's fate what's greater
In satisfying one's prevailing urge
Of what's perfect or an imitator

When it comes to true love old ways emerge
It's okay to your demeanor to stand
In waiting for the best that God does merge
Even if a bit old fashioned, And!
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: In a fast paced world patience seems more and more none existence and kindness is becoming rare. Nothing wrong in kindness in a time of a hate filled world. Some view this as old fashioned, but I would rather have a kind person as my mate than a hate filled one. In satisfying one's needs true love seems to have become a rare thing as well. Today waiting on God's intervention in bringing true love seems old fashioned to some. But He is the best match maker in the world; And, worth the outcome of waiting, no matter how old fashioned this may seem.

"My Form Created" Poem

 Different Hard-Easy

Although being different sometimes hard
The Lord can make this difference easy
As to Him your difference starred

To this world your being greatly charred
As conformity for you uneasy
For in being different sometimes hard

When you do not conform you are discard
For some this denial feels queasy
But to Him your different starred

The concept of becoming different
To some is very hard to follow
For Him this is viewed reverent

Because to this world you do not wallow
He will give you strength to endure
Your stay here with Him easy to follow

Your difference is reassurance
Although being different sometimes hard
He makes it easy as you mature
As to Him your difference starred
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Being different in this world can sometimes be hard; but being different can also mean non-conformity to the ways of the world. And, this difference to the Lord can be a treasure (1 Jo 2;15-15) as He gives you strength to abide in your difference. Making your temporary stay here, as different, easy in a hard place.
